A jaded soldier roped into playing Santa for some orphans, discovers the magic of Christmas with the help of a lovely elf who grants his Christmas wishes. This story was apparently written for a contest that stipulated a very limited word count, so it is incredibly short and though the premise has potential (even as a freebie) it just doesn't quite get the job done.
